Making art has been essential to my life since my earliest memories. Reflecting on my early childhood experience as a cavewoman artist, I find circles and repetition to be consistently recurring themes. This fascination never ended! Repetition of shape (often circles) is what makes up almost every art work I make.
"I've never met an art media I didn't like."

Part of my creative process as an artist depends on the use of many different materials. Thus, while I create many welded metal sculptures, I also work with shells, CDs, bottle caps, glass, firecracker tubes and much more.
I was born in Houston, Texas and have spent my life in various parts of the southern United States. As an artist, my influence for my sculptures has come from everything I see, feel, and experience while living in and exploring the diverse local landscapes. I now live and work beside a rural lake located among tall, sky sweeping cypress trees.
